Juventus’ Ghanaian international Kwadwo Asamoah has admitted that Tottenham Hotspur will be tough opponents in the UEFA Champions League next year.

The Italian champions were paired with the London side in the draw for the Champions League’s round of 16, which was made earlier this week.

Juve finished second in Group D behind Barcelona, while Spurs topped Group H ahead of reigning champions Real Madrid.

“Tottenham is solid, defends well, have gone past important teams in their group but if you want to try to win the cup you must be able to beat anyone. All the challenges are difficult,” Asamoah told Sky Italia in reaction to the draw.

Juventus will host the first leg in Turin on February 13, while the return match will be staged at Wembley Stadium in London on March 7.
